Most termite companies start with a package. We start with evidence.

The inspection is free. We walk the foundation perimeter, get into the crawl space, and check the sill plates where framing meets concrete. We take moisture readings at the points that make a structure attractive to termites in the first place.

Then we show you what we found. The mud tubes on the block. The galleries hollowed out inside the wood. The moisture numbers. You look at it with us. You see the findings before you spend anything.

Zach still likes to take the first visit himself. He wants to see the problem with his own eyes and hear what you are dealing with in your own words, because that is how the job gets scoped right. Nobody on the crew has more reason to get the call right. When he cannot get there, it is Dylan, our General Manager, or one of the crew, working the same way.

The Real Treatment Process

Two methods do the work. Which one you get comes out of the inspection.

A liquid barrier treatment puts a continuous treated zone in the soil around and under the structure. Termites have to cross it. We trench along the foundation and treat the soil foot by foot. That is real physical work, not a spray around the edges. A liquid barrier product in the Termidor class gives multi-year protection.

A bait system is different work. Stations go into the soil around the structure and get checked on a monitoring schedule. Workers feed, then carry the active ingredient back to the colony. That can take out the colony itself instead of just blocking it. Alpha-Dog currently uses liquid barrier treatments and does not install or service bait systems.

How we treat comes down to what the inspection actually found. Slab or crawl space. Where the activity is. How accessible the foundation line is. Whether there is an active colony or you are treating ahead of one. Not a fixed package sold to every house on the street.

What It Costs

Most pest companies around here do not publish termite pricing at all. We would rather be straight about it.

Across the industry, basic termite treatment generally runs about $250 to $1,000. Larger infestations commonly run $1,200 to $3,500 and up. Those are market figures from industry research, not our quote. Many companies also price by the linear foot of foundation, which is why two quotes on the same house can look nothing alike.

What moves the number on your house: the size of the structure, the linear footage of the foundation, slab or crawl space, how accessible the foundation line is, the method the inspection calls for, and whether termites are active or you are treating ahead of them.

The Alpha-Dog Promise on Termite Work

Termite work is not covered by the 30-day warranty. That warranty applies to bed bug treatments, and stating it plainly matters more than stretching it. What termite work carries instead is something a warranty cannot give you, which is proof from outside the company.
